All-you-can-eat, grill-it-yourself goodness in the heart of Polk County!
Lakeland, Florida! We had heard about the buzz form our friends who lives in Lakeland and finally decided to check it out. Spoiler alert: it did not disappoint. From the sizzling grill to the bubbling hot pot, this was a foodie experience worth every bite (and the wait ๐ญ).
Welcome to K-POT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot!! – Our newly found KPOT gem in Lakeland.

๐ฅ How It Works at KPOT Korean BBQ &
Whether itโs your first time or your fifth, hereโs how the KPOT experience goes down:
- Choose your adventure – Korean BBQ, Hot Pot, or both! You can go full grill, full soup, or mix it up for the ultimate foodie experience. Pls note that the entire table should me option. You can’t have hotpot only and I have both. It doesn’t work like that.

2. Time to order – After you were seated, your time starts ( 2 hour limit ) and you will be given a menu and a TABLET to order. You can browse the menu, and start adding everything that catches your eye. Think: marinated meats, seafood, noodles, veggies, dumplingsโyou name it.

For HOTPOT – Choose your Base Soup – I have one of the best base soup I have ever discovered and it just tastes so good. Mine – is a mix of Healthy Herbs & KPOT Tonkotsu. It’s the best!! And Yes!! You can mix the base. And order the rest on the tablet.

What I order: Seafood: 3 orders of shrimps, clams, mussels and I grab crabs and crawfish at the appetizer bar. For noodles – Fresh Pho noodles, for vegetables: Bok choy, mung bean sprout and corn. I make seafood hotpot.

And Tadaaaa!!

For BBQ – Use the TABLET to order – Let’s say you want 2 chicken bulgogi, click twice, 3 pork belly click 3x and so forth. Left side of the tablet is the Menu Category like vegetables, seafood, noodles and more. And oh!! Don’t forget to order rice from the staff!!

3. Make your own sauce and grab some seafood while waiting for your ingredients. It is located at the Appetizer section.

4. Grill it or Dip it – Your server brings the ingredients out in rounds, and from there, itโs DIY time. Grill your meat to perfection or simmer your goodies in hot broth. Honestly, itโs dinner and entertainment. ๐ฅข๐ฅ

And GRILL TIME BABYYY!!๐ฅ๐๐ฅฉ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ด

Hmmm…Yummmyyy!!๐๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ฅข๐ฒ

5. Chow Time – Have fun digging in with your friends or familyโbecause honestly, half the experience is the laughs, the chaos, and passing the tongs like itโs a relay race ๐. We usually skip a meal (or two) if we know weโre going to KPOT that dayโgotta make room for all that hot pot and sizzling BBQ goodness! Whether youโre grilling, dipping, or both, itโs the kind of meal that brings everyone togetherโฆ and leaves you so full, but so happy.

Overall Experience
After all the sizzling, dipping, munching, and (letโs be real) food comas slowly setting in, we left KPOT totally full and totally happy. The combo of Korean BBQ and hot pot really makes it feel like more than just a mealโitโs an experience. I highly recommend you get BOTH. We laughed, we cooked, we shared, and we definitely ate more than we shouldโve. ๐
Whether itโs your first time or youโre a KPOT regular, itโs the kind of place where the food brings people together. Just go hungry, be ready to get a little messy, and donโt skip the sauce stationโitโs a whole moment on its own.
