Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill Mayfair London: Amazing Casual Dining Experience
Gordon Ramsay is one of the most famous chefs in the world and we were just lucky enough to have the pleasure of dining at one of Gordon Ramsay’s restaurants in London. As a big fan of the celebrity chef, we had high expectations for the dining experience and we can confidently say we were not disappointed.
Invited by our bff to celebrate his birthday with him in London and he said if we go, he will treat us to one of Gordon Ramsay’s restaurants so we said YES and flew to London.
How many restaurants does Gordon Ramsay owns?
Gordon Ramsay owns 58 restaurants in UK, France, US, Singapore and Dubai.
His restaurants has different varieties like street kitchen, street pizza, fish and chips, bar and grill and Michelin starred.
Four of his restaurants is Michelin Starred and if you prefer a fine dining you should book a reservation ahead. Restaurant Gordon Ramsay is his flagship restaurant, a 3 Michelin star in London.
We visited the one closer to our hotel, The Gordon Ramsay Bar and Grill in Mayfair London, a casual dining experience.
For dog lovers like me, small and service dogs are allowed on some of his restaurants including this one.
Mayfair, London Building
There are 2 restaurants inside the building, on the left is LUCKY CAT by Gordon Ramsay. I read on some reviews Lucky Cat is one of Gordon Ramsay’s Top 10 Restaurants, so this will be my next target.
On the right side of the building is the Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill Mayfair this is in Grosvenor Square where we celebrated our bff’s birthday.

The Arrival
This couple never fails to arrive in style, exuding an air of sophistication with their chic and fashionable outfits. Unfortunately, I don’t have any photos of me arriving as I am the official photographer. Lol.
The Ambiance
From the moment we walked into the restaurant, I was struck by the photo on the wall that says ” PUSSY ” ( Lol ) Anyhow, we were greeted warmly by the staff and led to our table and to my surprise it is where I was struck by the wall photo.
The atmosphere is pretty chill yet sophisticated. People are just minding their own business, the staff are super fun and friendly, they will entertain you and make you feel comfortable.
They even invited me to go inside the bar so I could bartend..lol..I politely said ” No ” in the beginning because I was afraid Gordon will just gonna show up and yell ” Get the bloody out of there “ but then they said he comes to visit on Sundays in this particular restaurant so I felt safe and said ” Bloody hell yeah sure why not “ LOL.

The Menu & Prices
After we were seated, the staff presented the menu that offered array of exquisite dishes but of course we already had something in mind. The menu prices for this Bar & Grill is reasonable for the quality of food you receive.
What We Ordered:
To begin with.. We started off with mixed leaf salad
We nibbled on a crisp and vibrant leaf salad. This is light and refreshing appetizer while waiting for our order.
Seabass Ceviche
My all time fave. The combination of the tender fish, zesty lime juice and peppers in the Ceviche as I took my first bite made me feel I was on cloud nine. It’s delicious!

Of course, no meal at a Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill would be complete without snapping some photos while waiting for our dishes to arrive.
The Main Dish
For the main course, Jay ordered Gordon Ramsay’s signature dish The Beef Wellington. This flavorful dish is good for two but it was more than enough for four of us to satisfy our appetite. It is a MUST TRY!!
It was truly a sight to behold when it arrived at our table with its golden, flaky pastry shell and perfectly cooked medium-rare beef. The dish was accompanied with wine, mash potato with red wine sauce that complemented the beef perfectly.
These are mouthwatering!!
Joel opted for the Japanese Beef Wagyu. This dish is one of the most sought-after on Gordon Ramsay’s menu. This particular beef is known for its incredible marbling, which gives it a tender and succulent texture. This dish is both hearty and indulgent, perfect for those looking to experience the pinnacle of beef dining.
And for Marie & me, we ordered Lemon Sole Grenobloise. For seafood lovers, this dish is a burst of flavors in every bite. The freshness of the lemon juice, the saltiness of the capers, and the richness of the butter all come together to create a symphony of tastes in your mouth.
Our table was adorned by mouth-watering spread of dishes we had ordered, each one tempting us with its aroma and presentation. While savoring the delicious food, we took out time, enjoying each others company chatting and having a wonderful time. After all, the trip to London is to celebrate our bff’s birthday.
The restaurant had a comfortable and easy-going vibe, low key and casual mood. We enjoyed the mellow ambiance, making it a great spot to dine and unwind.
After the dinner, we took some more photos outside before heading back to our hotel full stomachs and satisfied taste buds.

Overall, our dining experience at Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill in London were nothing short of amazing. With good food, good company and impeccable service, it was a perfect night to celebrate a friends birthday. Thank you and again Happy Birthday Jay B!
I highly recommend to try any of his restaurants whether you’re looking for a casual or fine dining experience. And don’t leave without trying their signature dish, the beef wellington. Bon appétit!
