Imagine Museum – If you are a contemporary glass art enthusiast, this museum is a must visit!! Spring is here and Florida is one tourist destination around this time and if you plan to visit the Tampa Bay and St. Pete area, this museum is not one to miss!! I love everything about Imagine Museum.

( Pls check their website for current and rotating exhibits, these photos are from last year. I checked their website and most of these photos are on current exhibits, they have some new exhibits like European Masters and Blue Madonna on the 2nd floor. )

1st Floor
Located on the 1st floor are galleries, wonderful colorful glass art some with LED and the souvenir shop. For 2024, they have new exhibits like American Masters and Jan Exnar Gallery.

Karen Lamonte’s Floating World
As you enter the Museum, you will be entertained by Karen Lamonte’s breathtaking Kimono exhibit.

This is the infamous Rik Allen’s beautiful blown glass space rockets. I read there is a story behind this like world war related if I am not mistaken.

Serenity
1000 Years of Compassion
Trish Duggan, the founder of Imagine Museum and a prominent American artist installed 1000 Quan Yin heads in the hopes to conjure a communal effort to embrace others, show compassion, and radiate love according to Imagine Museum website. Quan Yin is the ancient Chinese Goddess of Mercy, love, and compassion. I am part Chinese and appreciates this art installation.

We are ending this blog with us being goofy in this beautiful circular glass art. We enjoyed our visit here so much and I would say Imagine Museum is one of my favorite glass contemporary museum.
