Eiffel Tower, Louvre Museum, Champs Elysees?
You might be surprise there are still a lot of beautiful places worth visiting in Paris.
Whenever I travel, I always start off with the most iconic spot or the one I’m so excited to see first.
I recently visited Paris back in February and these are on my bucket list but I was notย able to visit them all.
Here’s a little Travel Guide with a pinned mapย that starts fromย The Eiffel Tower on the left bank of the River Seine towards the right side all the way to The Louvre Museum then you cross the bridge to get to the รฎle de la Citรฉ or Island in the Seine River where Sainte Chapelle & Cathedrale Notre-Dame are centrally located. After that you cross the bridge to go to the left side of the river bank to get to #8 The Pantheon all the way to the Arc de Triomphe.
If you noticed # 1, 2, 13 & 14 has close proximity so you can start your journey like that too.
And before we start our journey, I just want to give you a very valuable tip..
” Attention: Beware of Pickpockets!! ”ย
( Unfortunately, They are everywhere!! ย Don’t sign up for petitions, people will be walking with a clip board and will approach you, just say ” Non or No ” and walk away. It is a SCAM!! Opt for a cross body bag with internal pockets or zipper and ensure to wear it in front of your body for added security. I know one who lost her wallet. )
Eiffel Tower is the mostย famous monument and most visited iconic tower in the world per National Geographic & Wikipedia.
It was named after the French Civil Engineer Gustave Eiffel.
The Eiffel Tower has 3 floors open to the public. The 1st floor, the 2nd floor and the summit.
The 1st floorย features the glass floor 187 feet above the ground where you can see the happening on the ground area called The Esplanade.
On this floor you canย find the famous restaurant Madame Brasserie with their famous Chef Thierry Marx.
They also have different durations and prices depending on what you choose like skip the line, via lift or stairs.
The 2nd floor is the most popular spot that features the observation deck where you can see the breathtaking view of Paris. You can also find the gift shops & theย Michelin Star Restaurant Le Jules Verne.ย
The Summit. The top of the tower with the summit observation deck that has an indoor and open air section.ย
Here you can find the restored office of Gustave Eiffel, the 1:50 scale model of the tower, a champagne bar & panoramic map.ย
